Discovery NotesThe soil was collected on September 19th, 2016 at 8:26 AM on Parkman Avenue near the Chevron Science building. The air temperature was approximately 67 degrees Fahrenheit.The sample was damp and full of organic matter. The grass and various other plants growing in the soil were visibly healthy, indicating the potential presence of phage. The soil was processed and phage was found on my direct isolation plate.
