Discovery NotesSample was collected in an area that experiences little to no foot traffic. It was exposed to sunlight on the top of the ridge. Train tracks were in the vicinity.
Naming NotesOur phage name refers to the term "hail mary" used in football, which means a pass in made in desperation, with only a slim chance of success and time running out on the clock. It was chosen because working with this phage was extremely difficult and felt like a hail mary during the entire journey.
