Discovery NotesThe phage was found in a front yard garden from Brodhead, Wisconsin, about 1 inch below of the surface. The temperature when the soil was collected was 79 degrees Fahrenheit. Initially, the soil texture was dry and sandy and had some organic matter.
Naming NotesSunny and I wanted a creative and unisex name that had roots from the Greek, Roman, Hebrew, Russian, and Norse languages because we wanted the name to be not only unique but also represent the diversity of our Biology 1405 class. To achieve this, we used a random name generator.
