Discovery NotesMy Phage is from a soil sample from Karen Kadel's chicken coop compost. I shared the bag with one other student in the learning community, but we found different phages. The sample was filtered and used for spot test(s). The sample was mostly dry and consisted of big chunks of mulch and soil.
Naming NotesThe reason why I named my phage Nanobubbles is due to me always forming bubbles when I used the serological pipette. Phages are measured in nanometer, hence the name. I have since overcome the bubbles but wanted to name it after how far I've come.
