Discovery NotesThis phage was found directly near the campus pond. It was on the side nearest to the Integrated Sciences Building. It was found on the bank near the water in a grassy area with a lot of loose soil.
Naming NotesThis was our last sample collected and it showed us promising results after multiple failed isolations and purifications. Saver refers to the fact that it made us successful in our phage journey. It was also found near the pond which refers to the first half of the name.
