Discovery NotesThe soil where this phage came from is usually pretty wet thanks to daily irrigation that takes place. This soil was actually not too far from a creek bed so it was a bit cooler than normal. The weather conditions were cloudy and the outside temperature was about 89 degrees. However the temperature in this particular area seemed a lot cooler thanks to the shade coming from trees.

The temperature might actually be an important characteristic considering the fact that the phage collected is temperent and seems to be temperature dependent (doesn't do well in incubators).
Naming NotesThis name stemmed from my personal hero and idol, Ron Burgundy. Who is a fictional movie character with charming personality and an abundance of class.

Plaque NotesThe plaque morphologies weren't as consistent after numerous series of dilutions which confirmed the likelihood of having only one phage population the plaques still varied in size. Their overall shape stayed the same.
