Discovery NotesSchmageggy was found at the base of a tree near Alight West Lafayette. Humidity was 41% and the weather was clear. It was additionally worked on by Madelyn Whitaker and Josh Hardy.
Naming NotesThe directors of the various Purdue Bands and Orchestras often use the name "Joe Schmageggy" as a stand-in example to represent what we should or should not be doing. It has become a running joke of sorts among students, so we thought it fitting to name our phage after the non-existent person.
