Discovery Notes
This soil was from an urban setting. This soil was taken from a very small garden on the side of the road next to the Pharmacy and Toxicology Center at University of the Sciences. There were a few flowering plants around the soil but none directly touching. The garden was elevated about 1 meter up but was parallel with the ground. The soil was possibly tended because of the flowering plants. One interesting observation is that the soil seemed to have worms in it.
Naming NotesThis phage was named after James Charles and his frequent use of the word "sister." It was named Daphne just because it's a pretty name and has a 'ph."
