Discovery NotesThe soil sample was found on Drexel University’s campus, under some bushes located between Disque Hall and the Drexel Main Building. The top layer of the soil was covered in mulch and loose leaf litter, but the soil underneath from which the soil was collected was slightly damp and loose, and darker in color than the topsoil.
Naming NotesThe phage was named after a popular and personal favorite Marvel superhero, Spiderman.
