Naming NotesThe name of this phage came from the name of our chancellor here at UMass Amherst, Kumble Subbaswamy. We wanted to honor him in some way before he retires at the end of this school year.

Plaque NotesMany isolated plaques, some were clumped together but many were isolated. Bacterial lawn was not webbed, as there were not enough plaques. Some small and clear, while others were larger with a border/halo around them. All plaques were circular in shape and the size ranged from 5 mm to 7.5 mm.
