Discovery NotesCollected from a rotting tree trunk outside of on-campus residence hall, Swenson Hall, at Carthage College. The temperature was approximately 74 degrees at the time of collection. The collected soil was mid-depth.
Naming NotesDuring entire streaking and titer process, we produced little results, despite the abundance of DNA present in EM grid. Additionally, in EM photo DNA had tails without capsids.

Plaque NotesIn the beginning all streaks and dilutions presented plaques that were completely lytic. The plaques in the beginning of isolating a phage, our plates had both large and small, pin point plaques. After our third titer dilution we began to see a consistency with small, round plaques.
