| Discovery Notes | The soil sample was wet. It was full of organic matters such as blades of grass and small twigs and bark. Soil was collected about an inch below the surface. It was dark brown in color. Collected on January 10th 2018 and it was 50 degree Fahrenheit. |
| Naming Notes | Phages felt like a pet for me. I had to provide them with host bacteria and other nutritions to test them and grow them. I wanted to include my name in so I used the first three letters of my name, which were Y,U, and M. Combining them altogether, I came up with "Yumster". This also sounds like a hamster, one of the popular pet. |
