Discovery NotesPhage was collected from a soil sample outside of the Fresh Food Cafe at Johns Hopkins University. Due to recent rain at time of collection, soil sample was damp and moist, relatively easy to dig up. Soil dug up was underneath bark, with trees and bushes nearby. Present in the sample collected were also white, thin and wispy worms (specific specimen unknown).
Naming NotesNamed after Agamemnon, mythological/literary Greek King of Mycenae. Name was chosen as investigator originally had two soil samples (from the same location) "A" and "B". Phage was isolated from soil sample A.
