Discovery NotesSoil sample was collected near pine trees close to an overpass of a busy road (East Beltline). The soil was shaded by the trees, and many pine needles covered the ground. The soil was dry and contained many small bits of pine needles along with dirt. A thin layer of pine needles was removed before gathering the sample.
