Plaque NotesSince the first discovery of this novel phage, the plaque morphology has changed three times. The first plaques were clear and ranged from 3-5mm in size. The second round of plaques (about a month after working with AustiBaby and after the removal of contamination in the lysate) the sizes were pinpricked and were about 0.3-0.6mm in size. Now, the plaques are still around the 0.3-0.6mm size but the phages seem to be switching back to their lysogenic phase. The clearings look as if they became cloudier due to the regrowth of host bacteria.
