Plaque NotesThe plaques were consistently clear and circular. They were about 2.5 mm wide.

Also did a host range test for ayashe, using M.Smegmatis mc2 155, M. smegmatis trevisan, M. smegmatis MH, M. austroafricanum, M. vanbaalemi, and M.spp. ELW1. The M. spp. ELW1 did not grow in the plate so we disregarded this bacterium. However, Ayashe lysed M. smegmatis mc2 155 (clear plaque), M. Smegmatis MH (clear plaques), and M. smegmatis trevisan (trubid plaques).
