Discovery NotesApproximately 1/2 cup of soil was obtained from a garden box outside the doors of Sennott Square leading to Forbes Avenue at the end of the garden box near the stairs to the bridge over Forbes to Towers, at the coordinates 40.442222 N, -79.955806 W. The soil was a coffee-brown color, contained some small pebbles, and was fairly wet. It was obtained from the edge of a garden box containing grass-like plants and some trees toward the center. The weather was approximately 60 degrees F and it had been raining all morning; the sun was not out.
Naming NotesI chose the name Basil after my favorite dog at Therapy Dog Tuesdays. Also, 13 is my favorite number.
