Discovery NotesThe sample from which the bacteriophage Borgus was isolated was gathered on September 1, 2015 at 12:43 pm. The temperature was 31°C, with 46% humidity. The soil was dry, but not dusty or hard. The site is surrounded by many plants and is the shade of several trees. The bacteriophage was isolated from within the top 7cm of soil.
