Discovery NotesThis phage was discovered using an 8+ control label plate with Gordonia terrae. The phage from this sample made a large bean-shaped plaque on the 8+ control plate. The sample was not one that I had personally collected. It was collected from a compost pile that was damp, moist, and rich in nutrients.
Naming NotesI named my phage in honor of my great-grandmother. She has had a huge influence on my life. She is a really important person in my life.
