Discovery NotesSample collection site approximately 20 feet from waters edge (lake), and under the shade of a tree. North facing slope a few yards off of a running trail. Soil very dry and sandy in texture, with tree roots intermixed. Collected at 3:20 PM on September 3, 2010. 84 degrees outside. Approximate depth of soil collection: 5 cm.
