Discovery NotesTime and Date collected: 22 September 2015 at 3:32PM

Weather and Temperature: 72F, cloudy skies

Sample's depth in soil: 1-3 inch

Location: Near University of Pennsylvania's Biopond (Biopond, Philadelphia PA 19104); moist firm soil next to natural green overgrowth and foliage with manmade small lake approximately 10 feet away; separated from pond with concrete pathway and pond's rocky lining
Naming NotesI chose Calico because my phage was isolated and purified from a very diverse set of phages with different diameters, and it was very difficult to isolate because there would always be other plaque diameters present.
