-Temperature: 19 degrees Celcius, 70% humidity, it had been raining for approximately 2 to 3 hours before the soil collection
-Depth: sample soil was collected 7cm below the ground level under a tree
-Location: at Homewood campus, from the Park located behind "Space Telescope Science Institue Building," next to San Martin Drive
-Sample soil was dark brown in color, very moist, and partially saturated
- Description of Sites: rural-like area isolated from the campus; collected under the tree located at the entrance of "Pederson Memorial Trail"; there was a creek about 5 m away from the collection site
