Discovery NotesDippy was found in a bed of soil that was under a tree next to Dippy the Dinosaur by the Carnegie Museum of Natural History. The soil was under shade and moist. The weather was very hot when I found and bagged the soil.
Naming NotesI named my phage Dippy because I found it right next to Dippy the Dinosaur. This statue of a Diplodocus is very loved by locals, so I thought that my phage should receive the same amount of recognition.
