Discovery NotesThe phage was discovered outside one of the freshman dorms at Johns Hopkins University on September 1, 2013. It was about 90 degrees outside, and the soil was dry. The sample was taken from about 4 cm into the ground. The closest building was about 10 feet away, and there was a brick path about 3 feet away.
Naming NotesThe name of this phage comes from a nickname of mine. It combines a part of my first name with a part of my last name.
