Discovery NotesFaye was discovered in a flower bed that contained a bush. The soil sample was taken from a depth of about 2 inches, below the mulch covering the bed. The soil was moist and dark brown.
Naming NotesFaye is named after my grandmother, who built planes in World War II. I hope to continue her legacy of strong women in science in our family.
