Discovery NotesThis sample was found near a lake in a compost pile on Carthage College's campus. There were pine needle piles on both sides of the soil. The soil sample was very dark and it had root pieces in it.
Naming NotesOur lab group members names are Fernanda and Elsa, so we used the first few letters of our names. Fernanda's favorite number is 3 and Elsa's is 15, so we used these as well.
