Discovery NotesThis soil sample was found outside of Sutherland Hall under a large tree. The sample was collected late at night and from the soil just beneath the surface. In addition to fallen leaves, there were many insects in the soil from which the sample was obtained.
Naming NotesThis phage completely destroys a mycobacterial lawn unless it is very dilute. As a result, I named it Hungry because it is hungry for bacteria.
