Discovery NotesWe found our phage at Gonzaga University outside of Hughes in a dirt bed below a tree. This area is on a hill and we picked up our sample there.
We tested for the growth of our phage with K-lysogen at room temperature and with regular smug at room temperature and 37ºC. Since the bacteria did not grow at 37ºC, our phage is not part of the K cluster.
