Discovery NotesThe phage was discovered on Jan. 17, 2013 in one of the composed pile at the Kresge Garden in University of California, Santa Cruz. The soil that contains the phage was moist and had been decomposed for a few days already.
Naming NotesThe name of my phage came from my initial, JC, and the phrase, "Fresh of the Boat"/FOB because the phrase reminds me who I am and where I came from regardless the phrase sometimes has negative connotation.
