Discovery NotesI collected the soil on August 27, 2016 at 7:25 p.m. The temperature at the time was 91 degrees Fahrenheit. I dug about 2 to 3 inches into the ground and collected it; the soil was quite moist and damp.
Naming NotesI decided to name this phage Janus because Janus is the Greek god of beginnings, and I liked it.
