Discovery NotesI found it on campus of Carnegie Mellon University. The soil sample was extracted from the ground at the pole near the College of Fine Arts building. During experimentation, the sample gave rise to clear and turbid plaque, indicating that there were at least two different kinds of phages. Eventually, I decided to focus on the clear phage, which I named Keane.
Naming NotesI named my phage after my favorite band.
