Discovery NotesSoil sample was acquired from the side of Hennessy Road next to the Fruit of the Loom plant. Local temperature was 75F. Soil was less than 1" deep from the surface, dry and compact. Pieces of grass were still attached to the soil.
**Amanda Staples continued processing of sample after Cydne discontinued work Sept - Dec 2016. Cydne processed the enrichment and plated. Mar 2017, sample was plated and plaque plugged to purify.
Naming Notes I named the phage Kitchens simply because Cydne was the initial discoverer of the phage.
