Discovery NotesWhen collecting the soil samples I gathered one from a damp area surrounded by trees and another from a dry area with no trees around. The second soil sample that was out in the open and very dry ended up containing my phage. The area was very sparse, there were no trees around. The soil was collected from about 1 inch under hard dirt layer and was found outside of my friend's house close to the sidewalk.

Plaque NotesMy plaques were very clear, they measured to be around 100 to 500 mm.After I conducted an experiment to determine if I had collected two different phages or if my phages plaque had two different sizes, I came to the conclusion that my phage has both big and small sized plaques. The phages plaques formed were clear.
