Discovery NotesUnder a bush, on top of soil, near Hughes Hall. It contained green moss, soil, and grass root. It was moist, and found near a few drops of snow.
Naming Notes"Schmutz" is German for dirt, and since our sample contained soil, we wanted to incorporate that aspect of the research into its name. "Schmutz" was taken, so we added "Lil" in front of it.
