Discovery NotesThe soil sample from which this phage was isolated was acquired just below the top layer of mulch in a flower bed outside of Ruskin Hall in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on September 5, 2018. The sample was moist, crumbly in texture, and dark brown to black in color as well as mixed with various debris such as mulch, fertilizer, pill bugs, and other detritivores. At the time of collection, the temperature was about 25.6°C, and the sample was stored overnight at room temperature before direct isolation.
