Discovery NotesThis phage was isolated from the plant Trifolium repens, which was collected by Elizabeth M. O’Neill from the Ashman lab. The plant was washed with PYCa, filtered, and then enriched with host at 30 degrees Celsius. Purification and amplification was completed by Kira Zack.
Naming NotesTrifolium repens is the white clover, which are considered lucky and generally have 3 leaves.
