Discovery NotesThis phage was isolated near the base of an oak tree. I dug about five inches down attempting to find soil near a root.
Naming NotesThis phage had very small plaques from the very first isolation. The plaques size and number made it difficult to tell if I had truly isolated it, as well it was very difficult to find the correct titre to get a webbed plate, I persevered through the challenges and eventually completed my work on the phage. I decided to name it memento mori in honor of the great tradition the ancient Romans held after victory, memento mori is meant to remind me to be humble while i think of my work here, and to thank all those who helped me through it.
