Discovery NotesFound at the back of the Payne Center in a ditch. The soil depth was 2-5 cm beneath the topsoil. It was 85° F outside on a sunny day.
Naming NotesThe name was chosen because we liked the name Morty, we felt it fit because Thomas wanted to name his child Morty and this phage was like our baby. But Morty was already taken so we changed it to Mordecai
