Discovery NotesDiscovered on 9/26/2012 at about 1:15 PM. Sample was collected in front of 81 Sockanosset Cross Rd in Cranston, RI under a bush (about an inch deep after removal of mulch.) The soil was moist and soft, and trash surrounded the site. Temperature at the time of capture was about 75F (or 23.9C)

Naming NotesMoxie means "the ability to face difficulty with spirit and courage." After facing several difficulties in obtaining enough DNA and lysate, I managed to pull out enough of both just before it was time to present my phage to the class.
