Discovery NotesSoil was collected from area next to the entrance of Sutherland Hall-West student housing at the University of Pittsburgh. There were trees, small bushes, and a layer of mulch covering the top soil. The soil was moist, powdery, and compacted. Collected at 8:26 PM on 9/4/17 on a cool and windless night. Isolated through the Direct Isolation protocol.
