Discovery NotesFound in 1-inch deep soil around a sprinkler outside the Keeney Quadrangle on Brown University's campus. The site was grassy, wet, and by a water source.
Naming NotesA name like this invokes thoughts of philosophical inquiry, of leaving the cave and seeing the light and understanding more through discovery. In this particular case, however, I just made a lot of plates with this phage, from enrichment plates to plaque picking plates to webs which sometimes worked and sometimes did not.
