Discovery NotesComing from a beautiful tomato plants soil, our phage was discovered among the damp bottom of the pot, that was watered every day. Seemingly we thought it would be a disaster taking soil that was store bought for the growing of a plant, however we were in for a surprise. It turned out to be a great success, and has given us nothing but hope for the long lasting strong phage!
Naming NotesOur phage seemed like a victory due to having a rare 3 phage DNA and our titer being extremely high, therefore our original name being "Lil Jackpot". With much thought, we decided Paige was much cuter.
