Discovery NotesThis phage was discovered in Riu Bambu resort in the Dominican Republic. It was isolated in the garden area where there was large amount of tropical foliage. The climate was very humid and 85 degrees F. Work continued on this phage after discovery by Andrew La in Fall semester of 2016 working as a student in the SEA-PHAGES program at the University of Pittsburgh.
