Discovery NotesThe soil sample that contained this particular bacteriophage was collected near Schenley Plaza on November 24, 2016. To collect the soil sample I used a plastic spoon to scoop out the soil and a plastic bag to place the soil in. In order to isolate a bacteriophage particle, I used a direct isolation procedure.
