Discovery NotesThis phage was found in a water sample from a creek near a local bagel shop. The creek is a stagnant body of water surrounded by a muddy bank and a lot of trees and plants. The sample was collected after a recent rainfall so the water was very murky.
Naming NotesI picked this name because my dogs nickname is shmooky and i thought it would be a good name for the phage.
