Discovery NotesThis phage was found in a large potting plant in schenley plaza. The pot was very large and about three feet tall. There was no vegetation of any kind in the pot just potting soil and it is possible there was fertilizer in the pot. The soil was slightly damp from a rainstorm the previous day. It was 39°F outside so the soil was cold.
Naming NotesI named this phage skittle because skittles are my favorite candy.

Plaque NotesPhage Skittle has two different morphologies. One of the morphologies is small plaques about the size of a pinprick, while the other plaques are slightly larger at about 1.0mm. The small plaques appear completely clear. The larger plaques appear to be haloed. They are clear in the centers and then turbid around the outsides
