Naming NotesTabularGherkin is an anagram of two inspirational teachers of the discoverers. For one, Harbanuk, really helped inspire biology as an ideal career to pursue, and the other, Gitler made biology a fun thing to learn, inspiring for future years.
The anagram was initially put through an anagram maker, and came up with three options, two would not be acceptable names for a phage, so we chose the rectangular pickle.
