Discovery NotesI chose to get my soil from a wet mulch pile. My family eats organic so all of the different decomposed material in there is organic. The soil was very moist and smelly.
Naming NotesIt is ancient Greek ruins. Tharros was an ancient city on the west coast of Sardinia, Italy. The literal meaning of the word means courage. I chose this for my virus because this course was about trying to isolate a plaque and trying to extract DNA. This to me was a comparison of like my virus being a great leader and trying to get the most out of it by spending so much time with it.
