Discovery NotesThe sample was collected at 8:15am, 08.30.17. The weather was partly cloudy. The soil was dry on the surface, slightly damp & compact at depth of 6 inches below surface. The spot was surrounded by a private fence on the east border, by a tree and firewood pile on the north border. The west border was a drop off in the yard with little grass. The south border was a garden with jalapeño plants.
Naming NotesIt took us a few times. So we choose the name TookTime for the phage name.
Also, the word is an onomatopoeia, an imitation of sound of a clock: took time, took time, too time...

Annotation StatusNot sequenced
Plaque NotesPlaques were almost perfectly circular, with entire margins, clear, similar to each other in shape but slightly diverse in size. The largest plaques were 1.9mm in diameter. They reached this size when there was plenty of space to grow. In crowded conditions, the plagues were 0.5 mm and less. We counted 82 plaques total in the plate from dilution 10^-6 of a sample from the collected lysate.
