Plaque NotesAfter 24 hours of incubation, plaques are turbid, roughly 3 mm in diameter with small clearing in center (similar to a dot) less than .5 mm. After 48 hours of incubation plaques grew to 3.5-4.0 mm in size. The clearing in the center became .5 mm larger in addition. The phage is a siphoviridae with an icosahedral head, although it appears to have a spherical shape. At the bottom of its tail is a round structure where the phage has its landing gear.
